Already have a domain?

You do not need to move your domain to host with us. Here are your two options, and how moving an existing website works.

Option 1: keep the domain where it is

This is the simplest route, and it is what most people should do. Your domain stays registered with whoever you pay for it today. Once your hosting is set up, we send you the exact settings to change at your current provider, and your website and email start arriving here.

Nothing to transfer, no transfer fee, no waiting on a registry.
You keep renewing the domain where you always have.
If you change your mind later, you change the same settings back.

Option 2: let us look after the domain too

If you would rather have one company for everything, ask us. As with a new domain, we check the ending you have, quote you the real price, and do nothing until you say yes. A few things are worth knowing in advance:

You will need the transfer code (sometimes called an auth or EPP code) from your current provider, and the domain must be unlocked there.
For a .se domain, the Swedish registry requires an identity, passport or VAT number from the holder, so we will ask for one.
The domain stays yours. If you leave us later, we send the transfer code without argument.

Moving an existing website and email

Tell us what you have. Send the site's address and where it is hosted now. We look at it before anything changes, and tell you plainly if it will not run well here.
Take a full copy. Download a backup from your current host, including your mailboxes if you want to keep old mail.
Set up here first. We create your account and you, or we, put the site in place while the old one keeps running.
Switch the domain over. Change the settings we send you. It can take a few hours for the whole internet to follow, which is why the old host should stay active until the switch is done.
